About Eden

Eden Seskin was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where her journey with theatre began. She’s had a passion and a knack for performing since before she can even remember — her first paid gig was a Toyota voiceover at just 18 months old!

Coming from a lineage of artists, music has always been an integral part of both her personal and family life. Growing up surrounded by so much music shaped her into not just a singer, but a true musician with an excellent ear. Eden has always been drawn to dance and movement as well, experimenting with many styles including acro, aerial, and modern, among others. She approaches every new form of movement with eagerness and openness, always ready to jump into something new.

Since her first show in 2011, Eden has been involved in over 50 productions across Suffolk County. Beyond performing, she has a zeal for creating. She began writing music in 2018 and had the opportunity to direct two musicals her senior year of high school — James and the Giant Peach and Spring Awakening.

Eden received intensive music theory and vocal training through her high school music department, along with personalized acting and theatre work through the theatre department, setting a strong foundation for her artistic journey ahead.

More recently, Eden is nearing the end of her BFA training in Musical Theatre at Ithaca College. She just returned from a semester abroad in London, where she earned her stage combat certification, studied physical theatre, and fully immersed herself in the vibrant London theatre scene (she saw a million shows).

Eden also recently completed her first feature film, The Proctor, in which she plays a featured role named Taylor. This past fall, she played Beth March in Ithaca College’s production of Little Women.

Up next, she’s set to play the Courtesan in Ithaca College’s production of Comedy of Errors, while also serving as the shows Intimacy Captain.
